A half-naked, moustached, bikini-clad, Viking hat-wearing, Swedish-looking mannequin greeted us all, legs akimbo, sitting on the edge of a bath. Add the cow, dogs, rubber ducks, jet ski, clubs and the security detail and it was just another Medical School divisional day/night out.
The very crazy ‘junkyard’ golf course saw colleagues from across the various units of the Medical School go toe-to-toe over nine unique holes. Who won out overall in the end will never be known, but good times were clearly had thrashing around the challenging (sometimes naughty) course. As the hipsters and night started to drift in, food and drinks were dispatched together in the outside courtyard as Portugal cruelly dispatched of Poland in the Euros on the big screen above us.
It was especially pleasing to see so many attend the event and have the opportunity to socialise with colleagues from the wider Medical School community.
