Amali Lokugamage shortlisted for NHS leaders award

Amali Lokugamage

Dr Amali Lokugamage has been short-listed for an NHS Leadership Academy Award under the “Inclusivity” category for her work in human rights in childbirth for being a conduit for women’s voices being heard. She was short listed from hundreds of nominations. The award ceremony will be in November 2014.


Dr Lokugamage is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Whittington Hospital and is the Lead Tutor for Vertical Modules at the Whittington campus.
