Several members of UCLMS staff are already avid Tweeters, sharing their thoughts and experiences with the world. Links to their twitter streams are in the menu on the right. But what is Twitter, how do you sign up, and how might it be helpful to you as a researcher, educator, administrator, clinician or student?
Final Year student Karan Bhatt has created a guide to Twitter for those who are nervous about taking the giant leap into social media. It describes what Twitter is and how it is used, and includes a step by step guide allowing you to create an account. The guide has already resulted in ACME PhD student @Emily_Unwin sending her first tweet!
Karan has also kindly agreed to run a Lunch ‘n’ Learn session so look out for dates on the Events pages in the near future. In the meantime, have a look at the guide here and join us online:
The guide is available here: Twitter 101
